Trombone day at Arizona State University
Except for the past two years, for obvious reasons, the trombone professor Brad Edwards invites trombone players and groups from all over Arizona to perform at a celebration of all things trombone. This year, Brad opened back up the event and, as in prior years, Bones Southwest opened the night’s concert.
Bones Southwest performed five tunes with its rhythm section. The audience enjoyed our performance, partly because we were the only jazz ensemble. They seemed to appreciate a contrast to the all-classical focus.
Enjoy the tunes we performed that night!
